BMW 3 Series Korea's Hankook Tire Use

SEOUL - South Korean tire manufacturer Hankook, was honored with a BMW AG supplier of tires to be used in the new 3 Series variants. BMW's best-selling car of the Hankook Ventus tires will use S1 evo2.

"Being one of the suppliers of components for one of the best-selling BMW vehicles are proof of our confidence and motivation," said Jin-Wook Choi, Hankook Tire President and CEO in Europe, as reported by inautonews, Wednesday (18/04/2012).

Hankook Ventus S1 Evo2 is the highest variant of the Hankook is introduced into the global automobile market in the spring of 2012. Ventus S1 Evo2 is the first UHP tire designed with racing DTM technology.

Hankook Ventus S1 evo2 comes with a lot of technical innovation and design in order to maintain balance and best performance in wet and dry tracks. Ventus S1 evo2 also been developed in the new EU tire labeling.

All BMW 3-Series tires are manufactured at the main plant in Geumsan Hankook, South Korea. Technologically advanced tire factory specializing in the production of high-performance tires. The plant also produces OE tires are used on a variant of the Mini Cooper.

In the U.S. market BMW 328i released with prices starting USD34.900 (Rp320 million). While the BMW 335i sold USD42.400 or Rp389, 5 million. All variants have a standard feature iDrive and a color screen and Bluetooth.
