LOS ANGELES - Coming to SEMA Show 2011 in Las Vegas, Hyundai's American division announced Veloster Turbo ready for production in January 2012. Currently, Veloster is under development.
As reported by Caradvice, Wednesday (02/11/2011) announcement is delivered directly by Hyundai Motor America CEO John Krafcik. He said Hyundai Veloster Turbo soon be produced and will be exhibited at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2012.
"This will pave Veloster Turbo next year. Before entering the production will first be exhibited in the arena and the SEMA Show 2011 Detroit Auto Show 2012, "explained by Hyundai Motor America CEO John Krafcik.
Regarding the kitchen runway, Hyundai Veloster Turbo is still using the 1600 cc engine with four cylinders. However, what distinguishes the addition of T-GDI (gasoline direct-injection turbocharged) dual variable valve timing.
With these machines, this car has a power of about 152 kW/203 hp, up by 70 hp at 6,000 rpm and 265 Nm at 1750 RPM.
